ATTENDANCE POLICY
Attendance is essential to the success of each season. Due to the nature of the sport, a practice missed has a significant impact on the team. It also takes away from others when a coach must step out during practice and teach what was missed.
For the reasons listed above, attendance at all practices is mandatory.
Any absences must be excused by the head coach BEFORE practice is missed.
With our season occurring during the summer months, please speak to your child’s head coach regarding
planned vacations during the season, these absences will be excused.
We understand things may come up throughout the season. For that reason, each participant is allowed
three (3) unexcused absences without consequence. If a participant exceeds three unexcused absences,
the consequences are as follows:

After the 4th unexcused absence - The participant will be required to attend the next game/contest in
uniform but will not participate. If the participant refuses to attend the game/contest WJT reserves the right to
remove any child from the team/organization.
After the 5th unexcused absence – The participant will be required to attend the next game/contest in
uniform but will not participate. If the participant refuses to attend the game/contest WJT reserves the right to
remove any child from the team/organization.
After the 6th unexcused absence – Removal from the team. WJT reserves the right to remove any child from
the team/organization.
